Golden Rim Resources (GMR) has resumed reverse circulation (RC) drilling on its Kada gold project in Guinea.

The program includes 5,000 meters of drilling, with the first assays expected at the end of this month.

Drilling will focus on targeting shallow oxide gold mineralization at several prospects along the 15 kilometer long Kada Gold Trend.

The targeted areas are outside of the Company’s mineral resource area.

Managing Director Craig Mackay said the plan is to expand gold resources in target areas.

“Following the success of our resource definition drilling and our first mineral resource of 930,000 ounces at Kada, we are excited to begin exploration drilling with the goal of expanding the gold inventory along the corridor. Kada Gold, focusing on shallow oxide mineralization,” he said. noted.

“Drilling will target several attractive prospects to the north and south of the mineral resource area that we have identified through auger drilling, regional mapping and rock chip sampling.”

The shares were trading up 10.3% today at 7.5 cents just before the market close.
