LA BELLE, Mo., May 17, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Verde Resources Inc. (OTCQB: VRDR) Verde Resources (Verde) has engaged Gary Zimmer as a corporate consultant to develop and formulate breakthrough design compost and Verde’s integrated regenerative agriculture programs.

With decades of experience helping farmers regenerate their land in the United States and around the world, Zimmer has become synonymous with the “Father of Organic Agriculture”, having founded and still serves as the visionary director of Midwestern BioAg. Along with his family, Zimmer owns Otter Creek Organic Farm, an award-winning 1,600-acre family farm located near Lone Rock, WI. He is also the author of three books.

“I’ve been in the organic farming business for over 40 years, and farming today is all about regeneration. By combining minerals with a carbon source, we can make the farm more efficient and resilient, restoring the biodiversity of degraded soils which would lead to improved soil health and a catalyst for the process of carbon sequestration,” said Zimmer.

“By using compost as a base and then adding the right amount of biochar and minerals, we can create regenerative compost tailored to the specific needs of agriculture, which can absolutely replace synthetic fertilizers. This is the future, and I’m happy to be a part of Project Verde as we race towards Net Zero by 2050.”

Zimmer’s nomination follows after Verde having signed a lease-purchase agreement for a 24-acre property in The beautiful last February to establish a flagship Biofraction™ facility that innovates carbon farming products and programs to replenish soil organic matter on farmland in the Midwest and beyond.

Zimmer brings decades of experience and know-how to the team to pioneer a sustainable approach to agriculture in the best interest of farmers, consumers and communities. This is an important milestone for Verde’s goal of reducing global atmospheric carbon, in line with the Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) target set out in the Paris Agreement and COP26.

“By fixing the soil, we’re fixing the planet. Our innovative products activate biological life in the soil from year one, reduce farmers’ dependence on synthetic fertilizers, enable them to achieve high yields and sequester more carbon in the soil. ground,” added Barry Midtlingdirector of regenerative agriculture of Verde.

It is a key element in bringing Verde’s vision for the world, which is: “Going Green and Beyond”.
