John Deere will sell self-repair resources online

Deere & Co. said it is improving its diagnostic tools for its agricultural and construction machinery and expanding access to the company’s subscription-based troubleshooting service by making it available for purchase online for repair shops. repair independent and directly to customers.

Beginning in May, the company announced that it would give customers and independent repair shops in the United States the ability to purchase its Customer Service ADVISOR product directly through

Customer Service ADVISOR, a digital database of technical manuals and other repair tools, is currently only available at John Deere dealerships, the company said.

“We hope John Deere customers will be pleased with the expanded access to diagnostic information they will get with Customer Service ADVISOR available in the online store,” said Denver Caldwell, Aftermarket and Support Manager Deere & Co. customer “And we’re even more excited about what’s on the way with the repair.”

The company also said that in 2023 it will roll out new diagnostic services that include a mobile device interface and the ability to download software updates directly to select John Deere equipment with 4G connections.
